Grain Dampener

Grain Dampener

Category

This is used to add varying percentages of water to the cereal. When it enters the detection chamber, the grain meets a guillotine shutter which is appropriately adjusted to slow down the cereal in order to create a buffering area. It then activates a capacitance probe which triggers a solenoid valve that lets the water pass through. The cereal is then channeled into the auger where it comes into contact with the released water through a nozzle, the adjustable paddles help create the perfect mix and channel the dampened cereal towards the outlet and possibly a resting silo. The opening and closing of the water flow are managed completely independently from the grain dampener, while the amount of water is adjusted by the operator through an ASA flow meter with a graduated scale.
The cereal dampening system is formed of: detection chamber made from AISI 304 stainless steel complete with adjustable guillotine shutter and 20/250 V capacitance sensor, 24/110 V solenoid valve, ASA flow meter with stainless steel stopcock to adjust and read the flow rate of the water to be added to the cereal, connecting accessories and a general water stopcock. This machine must be supplied from the water mains.
Made entirely from AISI 304 stainless steel. “U”-shaped chamber with a diameter of 150x2000mm for mixing the water and cereal. Rotor with blades that can be adjusted to different diameters entirely made from stainless steel. Powered with a 0.75 kW worm gear motor. The tank is fitted with a Plexiglass lid so you can continuously check the processing.
